1) Full Name: Katherine Alicia LASTNAMEHERE
2) Male/Female: I's a girl!
3) Were you named after anyone? My mother thought Katharine Hepburn was a badass, so she named me after her, but forgot that the first "e" was supposed to be an "a." That just makes me original!
4) Does your name mean anything? Katherine and Kate are Greek and Gaelic for "purity." There are days when I feel this is more appropriate than less.

17) Do you look like anyone famous? I've been told I resemble a couple of people. Anna Paquin is one of them.
18) What do you look like? 5'5'', slim and athletic. I've got pretty broad shoulders, for a girl, nice hips, and a good butt. I'm very proud of my arms - they're nice and toned. Ask me to show you my biceps some time! My legs used to be kind of bowed, but I'm getting more confident about them these days. I have a babyface, and that with my slim figure gets me mistaken for a middle-schooler all the time, which is frustrating now but will be useful when I'm 40. My hair grows very straight and smooth looks good long, so right now I'm growing it back from a few experimentations with short cuts. It's dark and smooth and shiny and very soft, and I like it a lot. I usually wear it held back from my face with a cloth headband. I also have some freckles, but not a ton.
19) Any unusual talents? I make really good tea, and I've been able to do a good shoulder-stand even before I started doing lots of yoga.
20) Righty, lefty, or ambidextrous? Right sieeeeeed.

27) Boyfriend/girlfriend? Hah, no. I'm single, but crushing mildly on a few people.
28) Crush? Just a few cartoon characters, and some nice boys and a girl I know. Something might happen with the latter, but not the former. Hee hee.
29) What celebrity would you date if you could? David Boreanaz or Hugh Jackman, my ideals of physically attractive manitude.
30) Current worries? That my thesis will fall through sooner or later, that I won't be able to graduate with a job I like, that I'll never be in a position to have a significant positive effect on the world.
31) Favorite online guy/girl: Kiiiiiiira.

47) A car: A blue Oldsmobile with an Obama/Biden bumper sticker and another one that says "My Other Car is a TARDIS," which makes the fact that we all call it the TARDIS kind of silly.
Describe your...
48) Personality: Extremely thoughtful and self-aware, usually very cheerful but I have a tendancy to go to extremes, so when I'm in a bad mood, I am in a bad mood. Curious, easygoing, working towards less passivity. Optimistic despite being conscious of reality. I'm a rare animal.
49) Driving: I like to listen to music and fall into a nice, deep state of calm when I drive. That, or I sing really really loud. Either way, it's very therapeutic!
50) Your clothing style: Belongs in the 70's. On any given day you can find me wearing peasant skirts or ripped and re-sewn jeans with a tank top or t-shirt, usually with flowers or butterflies or leaves or glitter or some other girly design technique on them. If I was a guy, I would wear really loud Hawaiian shirts. I like clothing that lets me move freely and doesn't weigh me down, but I like being warm more than I like being free to move, so most of the time that I'm going to class, I wear my big denim sack-jacket on top of my pretty clothes. I believe in function over form, even though form is awfully fun.
51) Room: It's really purple! My bed is lofted over Kelly's, which is also really purple, and both our beds are silver framed and very very Ikea. Our floor is wood, and our stuff is everywhere.
52) What's missing?: My notebook! It has all my class notes in it! I need it! D=
53) School: Rollins Senior.
54) Bed: So nice! Lofted, so getting in is kind of like crawling into my own little cubbyhole next to the ceiling. It's full-sized too, so I can stretch out, and has a futon mattress and crappy but well-loved green plaid sheets, lots of pillows, and a green comforter. My big stuffed dolphin lives up there and I cuddle her in my sleep.
55) Relationship with your parents: I love them both. They have their moments when they make me facepalm, but they're all right, and I'd like them as people even if they weren't my mom and dad. Dad's having a little trouble letting me, his baby, go, but Mom is taking my leaving the nest pretty well.
56) Do you believe in yourself? Yes!
57) Do you believe in love at first sight? Empirical evidence is missing.
58) Consider yourself a good listener? Too good, sometimes.
59) Have a future dream you would like to share? Be a National Geographic reporter!
60) Get along with your parents? Yes, really well. My parents are cool dudes.
61) Save your email conversations? Gmail does it automatically so, yes.
62) Pray: Not regularly. I don't feel good at it.
63) Believe in reincarnation? Yes.
64) Brush your teeth twice a day? Nope. I suck at remembering.
65) Like to talk on the phone? Nnng, no.
66) Like to eat? I love to eat! Food is delicious! I want to travel all over the world and eat delicious food, like Anthony Bourdain does.
67) Like to exercise? Yup! Yoga and t'ai chi and wwimming and skating and rock climbing are my favorite ways to exercise.
68) Like to watch sports? I like gymnastics and men's diving best.
69) Sing in the car? All the time!
70) What is a dream you have all the time? I'm naked in public, which is not embarassing because of the nakedness, but what people will think of me for being naked. I believe that in this case it's a metaphor for being my true self in public, and worrying about what people think of the real me. Curiously enough, even though I know that people will disapprove of my nakedness in these dreams, I always feel a combination of pride in with my nervousness for being different.
71) Dream in color? Totally.
72) Do you have nightmares? Yeah, if I have to pee at all when I'm sleeping I have awful nightmares. I try not to drink anything up to two hours before I go to bed, because if I do, it's surefire nightmare time.
73) Sleep with a stuffed animal? I have my big cuddly dolphin which I cuddle every night! She makes a good pillow during Exalted, too.
74) Right next to you? The cap to my memory card, the other computers in the computer lab.
75) On your favorite coffee cup? An orange and yellow doublesized one with a sunflower and a rooster on it, from Kira's mother.
76) On your mousepad? Ain't got one! Touchpads all the way!
77) Your favorite flavor of gum? Bubble Yum Original Bubble Gum flavor.
78) Your brand of deodorant: LUSH Aromarant. I love the lemongrassy sandalwoody goodness!
79) Your dream honeymoon spot: Somewhere private and mountainous, with trees and a little river. Or a cruise ship that takes us to lots of places like that.

81) Hiding in your closet? Peppermint essential oil for my henna mix.
82) Under your bed? Kelly's bed!
83) The name of one of your closest best friends: Kelly
84) Your bad time of the day? I haaaate waking up and dragging my ass out of bed, no matter what time of day it is.
85) Your worst fears? Dying a painful, drawn-out death, not doing anything meaningful with my life.
86) Whats the weather like? Cool and sunny.
87) Your favorite time of the year? Late summer, early fall, beach run time!
88) Your favorite holiday? I like All Saint's Day a little better than Halloween, actually. I really like to reflect on spiritual matters in a calm, happy place just after parties and candy and dressing up . . . and All Saint's Day always feels good for spiritual ruminations for me.
89) A material weakness? Soap, bath products, tea, the occasional really nice piece of clothing, books.
90) The weirdest food and drink you like: Uh, I just eat things. Lots of things. I guess not everybody else loves lemongrass soup and tea as I do.
91) At the top of your to-do list: Honors thesis!!!!!!!!1!
92) The hardest thing about growing up: It hasn't actually been hard at all. I guess just making the transition from being a student to being a worker and finding a job that I like.
93) A pet peeve? Being talked to when I don't feel like talking. Of course I never come straight out and say "I don't feel like talking right now," so I should work on that.
94) Your scariest moment: The year I was 11 and locked into a self-imposed system of constant paranoia.
95) Your attitude about love: Love should be the highest pursuit of humanity. I don't believe enlightenment and eternal happiness are possible without love in all of its many forms, be it filial, familial, parental, romantic, spiritual, self, or just for the world at large.
96) The funniest or most desperate thing you have done to attract someone of the opposite sex: I actually haven't done anything lulzworthy, really.
97) The worst feeling in the world: Being gossiped about
98) The best feeling in the world: There are so many! How can I pick one? Swimming in the sea, being warm and cozy in bed, cuddled up with someone I love who loves me, riding in the front of a boat over the ocean, having just written something I like, lots of others.
99) Who sent this to you? Got it from Kelly 'cause I wanted to do it.
100) 6 People you tag: Go for it, everyone!
